Mrs. Langer's Class

General Education

Are you ready for an adventure?  We will be experiencing this new learning together and I'm excited to get to know all of you!  We will be using Schoology as our learning platform during our remote learning this year. Your child will find all new assignments posted on his/her third grade Schoology Course. This will be our landing page for all assignments and discussions. Your child will find new assignments as well as all of the resources he/she might need (ie. links, videos, resource pages, etc.) for each subject area. Your student will submit all completed work in Schoology by the given due date and time. Your child (and you) will want to check these assignments often as I will be providing feedback and additional opportunities to increase his/her understanding of the different concepts.  I'm happy to assist with student questions through email and/or video chats Monday-Friday throughout the day.  Please feel free to contact me any time, as email is the best way to get ahold of me. If I'm LIVE with students, I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can. As we begin this new system, there will be many glitches we will need to figure out together. Please be patient with this process, as it is a brand new way of learning for all of us. Please make sure you check out the different learning opportunities for families to learn more about Schoology in the Thursday updates sent by the district. They will have videos to help assist with navigating and working with Schoology. These have been SUPER helpful as we started the same learning process!!

Attendance will be taken each day by your child attending LIVE (synchronous) teaching and submissions of assignments/tasks. Therefore, it is important for your child to be present during our Google Meet sessions and for him/her to do his/her VERY best on assigned tasks. More information on grading procedures and expectations will be communicated soon.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

We can do this!!!  Mrs. Langer
