Remote Learning Grading and Attendance:
We want your child to feel prepared headed into the next school year and recommend that your child complete everything on the Learning Board to the best of his/her ability. The kindergarten team has worked thoughtfully to make assignments manageable from week to week while still covering end of year standards. As stated in the Community Weekly Update sent to families on 4/16/2020: “The grade that your child had prior to the start of remote learning will be the grade for the end of the 2019-2020 school year as long as they remain engaged and participate in remote learning through the end of the year. If you have concerns about your child’s grade, they have the opportunity to improve that grade through work and conversations with their teacher. For more information about grading, attendance and participation, contact your child’s teacher or visit www.adams12.org/remotelearning.”
Please see the Learning Board for specific details each week. Remember, attendance is taken for each week's participation on Monday of the next week.

We are committed to providing a quality education for your child. Our program will offer your child the opportunity to learn the basic skills and begin a life-long love of learning. The curriculum is one which promotes the development of physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of each child through hands-on experiences. The environment in the kindergarten classroom is a nurturing, positive, and safe environment where your child will be respected and encouraged. We foster the growth of the children to become independent and self-confident.
Communication between home and school is vital. We work hard to develop a partnership with families. Most importantly we try to make school a positive place for you and your child.
