Honor Choir

The top 5th-grade singers from each elementary school in the district are selected based on their vocal talent and sense of responsibility.  These students have the unique opportunity to join a choir of 200 singers, performing under the direction of a guest conductor.  At Cotton Creek, students are chosen through an audition process held in late February.  Those selected are expected to learn and memorize 5-6 musical pieces and attend six after school rehearsals.  In April, all participants will come together for a combined rehearsal during the school day, culminating in an evening concert for family, friends and district dignitaries.
