2024 Bond Program, Investing in Student Success

Cotton Creek Elementary Bond Projects

Cotton Creek Elementary is slated to receive a wide range of improvements through the 2024 bond, with between $3.4 million and $4.1 million in total investment.

Inside the building, classrooms will be upgraded with permanent walls replacing outdated modular partitions, along with new cabinetry, flooring and furnishings. Several building systems will also be revamped through the bond. These investments include heating and cooling improvements, which should ensure the comfort of students and staff while also boosting building efficiency. 

Safety enhancements include new fire alarms, intercoms, door locks, exterior door sensors and improved cell service. Connectivity will also improve with upgraded Wi-Fi and network cabling to support reliable digital learning.

Outside the building, the school will see refreshed parking areas, updated asphalt surfaces and a new preschool playground. Together, these projects will provide a safe, modern and welcoming environment that supports student learning and community connection.

Bond Investment Areas at Cotton Creek Elementary

The 2024 bond is focused on improving and updating facilities across the district. All bond projects will benefit students, staff and the community by investing in our buildings and – by extension – investing in our community. These investments vary from paving and resurfacing projects to major interior and exterior overhauls to update school furnishings and finishes. 

All schools are also receiving comprehensive IT upgrades through the 2024 bond. These upgrades will support faster network connections and support advanced classroom tools. IT projects will also boost school safety and security, with improved security cameras, exterior door sensors and updated safety systems.
