I was born on June 11, 1968 in Durango, Mexico. I am married and have three children, twin boys who are 20 years old and a girl who is 19. I graduated as a teacher in Mexico in 1987 and worked in a middle school there for three and a half years before I moved to Colorado in 1991.
After several years of living in Thornton Colorado, I began working in district 12 in 2003 as an ESL para educator at Coronado Hills Elementary School. Over the years I worked as a regular para educator working with different grade level students and other tasks like helping in the library and doing lunch duties. I worked there for about eight years . And at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year I started here at Cotton Creek Elementary School as a kindergarten para educator, where I do assist the teachers in their classrooms.
