Hi there! My name is Alicia Powers and I am so lucky to be a part of the Cotton Creek community! I was born and raised in Colorado and graduated from the University of Phoenix where I received my Masters of Elementary Education. Prior to my Masters, I received a my Bachelor's degree in Communication. This is my fifth year teaching, and my first year at Cotton Creek. I am married to my wonderful husband, Zach. We have two cats, Mulligan and Bogey. We also added our newest addition, our son, Talon, to our family on February 25! Outside of the classroom, I am very into the arts. I really enjoy photography, painting, and baking. I have also been a dancer for 19 years, and enjoy every style of dance! I can't wait to begin this school year and to watch as the students begin to grow in all of their abilities!
